by Poet: Henry van Dyke
Four things a man must learn to do
If he would make his record true:
To think without confusion clearly;
To love his fellow-men sincerely;
To act from hionest motives purely;
To trust in God and Heaven securely.
A short but motivating poem where the Poet focuses on four things he feels every person should do to have a good life. There are many variations of what should and shouldn't be done and each person may have a different opinion of what these qualities should be.
We hope the words of Henry Van Dyke give you inspiration and motivate you to be the best that you can be.
